Before you dive into reading this article, pause for just a second. How many of you know someone – a mother, a sister, a friend, a co-worker – who has been touched by breast cancer? Sadly, the answer is likely too many.

The taps are spluttering, the soil is cracking, and across the island, communities are bracing for another punishing stretch of water restrictions. With parish-wide National Water Commission (NWC) measures tightening and the forecast offering little promise of rainfall, adopting safe water-saving measures at home is essential. 

It’s officially that time of year again: the book lists are finally sorted, uniforms are being adjusted, and parents are breathing a sigh of relief. Let’s be honest, back-to-school is easily "the most wonderful time of the year" for adults ready to swap morning chaos for a little peace. But for the kids? Not so much!
